Glassing:
All have full tilt resin
tint,
6 + 4 oz deck with 4 oz bottom
lamination,
gloss polish finish, resin loop
by moonlight.
Rocker:
Contemporary rocker.
Rail:
Downrail, with slight rolled up rails
in the front.
Bottom Contours:
Features a slight single to double barrel vee
which stops just in between the front two fins.
Fin Setup:
Glass on Geppy hand foiled Skip Tri Fin template.

Type of Waves:
This board is built to go
fast in waves waist high to well over head beach of reef.
Josh's Comments:
This is a newer version of a swallow tail
that Skip and I built for a surf trip to Indonesia in 2001. Probably the
most contemporary shape I have in the smaller board models. It paddles
well and is extremely fast down the line, but because its narrower with
more curve in the outline, you can be really aggressive with bottom
turn, top turn surfing. |
