Yuichi was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan

and grew up idolizing Southern California's image of surfers,

Chevy trucks and rock and roll.

He is an avid surfer and work out fanatic. 

Cynthia was born and raised in California and grew up watching surfers,

driving Chevy trucks and being a part of the California rock-n-roll culture.

While Yuichi likes to enjoy the ocean from above...riding the waves,

Cynthia likes to enjoy it from below.

In addition to pleasure diving, she holds a divemaster certification.

They met in Japan during Cynthia's travel through Asia.

Well, it was more like a 2-year "getting lost" in Japan, Thailand and Singapore.

They came back to California, got married

and the rest of it is this website.

They both have a passion for the ocean and are involved in efforts

to keep our oceans clean.
